His primary objective for the CASELINKS Project was to develop multimedia systems to support human learning and problem solving, based on cognitive principles and guidelines from cognitive science, Activity Theory, and Artificial Intelligence. In this particular context, technology was used to address which physical media types are effective, which cognitive media types are effective, how information was organized and retrieved, and when to use technology. Kambiz had utilized technology to develop and implement standard-based curriculum, and school district benchmarks for the past six years at the K-6 level.
